The third annual Glow Shenzhen, a grand light festival, is being held across the city and will run through Feb. 19 next year. This year’s event feature 217 works of light art created by artists from around the world.

Glow Shenzhen 2022, themed “Chasing the Flowing Light,” has its main venue set up in Futian District and has nine other subvenues in Luohu, Nanshan, Bao’an, Longgang, Guangming, Longhua, Pingshan and Yantian districts, and Dapeng New Area to connect seven shopping centers in the city that have been decorated for the glow carnival.

In Yantian, light decorations will last through Jan. 4, 2023. The Yantian subvenue for the Glow Shenzhen 2022 is located in Yantian Central Park under the theme of “Vast Universe,” where residents can appreciate glamorous lighting as they shop around at stalls.

While being immersed in the visual feast of light, you can also treat yourself with various delicious food, from fried chicken to seafood to barbecue.

Glow Shenzhen is jointly organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Urban Administration and Law Enforcement Bureau, the nine district governments and the management committee of Dapeng New Area.
