On the evening of May 28, the "Starry May Night" concert by the Tinghai A Cappella Choir took place at the Yantian Auditorium. The concert, characterized by its unique pure vocal a cappella style, offered the audience a distinct auditory and visual experience.
The concert was divided into three sections: "Stories of Time," "Splendid China," and "Harmony and Unity." In the "Stories of Time" section, the choir performed heartfelt renditions of classic songs such as "Story of Time" and "Starry May Night." The "Splendid China" section featured works like "Light" and "Moon Papa," showcasing the profound cultural heritage and musical charm of the Chinese nation, allowing the audience to appreciate the unique flavor of traditional music. Finally, in the "Harmony and Unity" section, the choir delivered pieces such as "The Greatest Showman" and "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea," conveying messages of harmonious coexistence and the pursuit of dreams, leaving the audience feeling warmth and strength through the ocean of music.
"The concert is a precious gift amid our busy lives, allowing people to temporarily forget their worries and immerse themselves in a sea of music to enjoy happy moments," said the choir leader when discussing the origin of the concert's name. The "Starry May Night" signifies a dazzling and breathtaking experience, bringing endless surprises and emotions to the audience.
The Tinghai A Cappella Choir is a professional nonprofessional public welfare team performing purely vocal shows. Comprising 32 members, all graduates of professional music institutions, they are dedicated to public welfare performances and cultural promotion.
