The event, which gathered top kirin teams from around the world, showcased the rich cultural heritage of this traditional Chinese art form. The Shatoujiao team impressed both the judges and the audience with their outstanding routines. Their traditional performance, Classic Liaohua Garden Sequence, demonstrated impeccable technique with 11 meticulously executed moves that highlighted the kirin dance’s cultural roots. In the freestyle category, the team presented "Harmony of Phoenix and Kirin," an innovative routine based on a traditional tale about a kirin bringing blessings to a wedding. The performance featured dramatic storytelling elements, such as welcoming the bridal sedan, escorting the bride, and paying homage at the family shrine, earning widespread acclaim for its creativity and execution.
